So its time to start saving, whether that be for Christmas, holidays or even a new car. In this article, we are going to discuss some of my top tips for saving money.
1- Money Box
People can see this as childish, but having your own money box is an excellent way to save. All of your spare coins go into your money box. It soon adds up in no time. My personal favourites are money boxes which you have to smash so you can’t take money out.
2- Savings Account
Open up a savings account with your bank. Some of these allow you to set goals to help you know how much you need to save each month. You can also transfer spare change into these accounts.
3- Budgeting
One of the more difficult ones, but try to set yourself a budget. Know how much you can spend on essentials. How much you can spend on yourself each month. All the leftovers next payday can go into savings.
