Christmas is slowly beginning to creep up on us all. I am one of these people who needs to start early to not get over faced. But how can we control our spending at Christmas?
One of the best ways to control your spending is to have a budget. This can be a budget for each person you need to buy for and everything you need to get. For example, if you have children, they may have a higher budget than some of your other family members. You will also need to consider who will be cooking the food, create a list of everything you need and work out costs. Lists are an excellent way to help you stay on track. You can write down everything you want to buy everyone. Check them off once your done, then you’ll be aware of who still needs buying for. Another good way to keep on top of spending is by purchasing items like wrapping paper in the Christmas sale ready for the next year.
