Financial advice is often a term associated for adults, but teenagers are becoming more and more aware of finances, and it’s important that they are because as soon as they leave school, they must either opt for further education or work, and both require an understanding on expenditure.
Whether a teenager is thinking about heading to university or college, they may need to borrow money from student finance, essentially meaning they will be paying it back once they’re back in full time work.
Financial advice can even be found in secondary schools now, in subjects such as PSHE and Enterprise. Teenagers should be prepared for the world that await them after they complete their stidies, and finance is a big part of that.
